Did you know the State of Oklahoma has set execution dates for 25 people. Beginning August 25th the state will execute one person every four weeks for 25 months. The death penalty has been proven as an ineffective deterrent for violent crime. Oklahoma capitol cases cost on average 3.2 times as much for taxpayers than non capitol cases.
